Funeral Costs : Corowa

Funeral Costs & Options

The cost of a funeral will essentially reflect the personal, cultural and financial needs of your family, and the choices you make. Tobin Brothers has a flexible pricing structure, which allows families to choose from a range of services and options.

Some people prefer to obtain information on services, options and prices before engaging a funeral director. That’s why we established our Funeral Advice Line, where our specialist Funeral Planners provide obligation-free guidance and advice.

Our specialist Funeral Planners will provide you with an itemised fee proposal, outlining all of the services and costs involved with the funeral that best reflects the life of your loved one and your family’s needs.

To talk with one of our Funeral Planners contact our Funeral Advice Line on
(03) 9373 7000.

Make memorable moments with the Corowa funerals home

Sending off a loved one is often a difficult and emotional time, no matter how anticipated the moment might have been. Our Corowa funeral directors are professional and empathetic, lending a level of sensitivity and organisational expertise that will help you process the experience as comfortably as is possible.

Tobin Brothers was established in 1934, and our family-owned business has been caring for the community for generations. This includes our funeral home in Corowa. It’s important to use that we offer respectful and fitting services to honour the lives of your loved ones, and make the process as easy as possible for you. As difficult as a funeral can be, it can also be a special occasion that creates a memorable moment. We’ve created our Memory Maker app so that you can plan each part of the occasion step by step, understanding your options and choosing preferred elements.

What to expect from the Tobin Brothers Corowa funeral directors

We pride ourselves on being sensitive to your needs, and stepping in as much or as little as you might need us in the lead up to the planned funeral service. We’re aware that these needs can change throughout the process, and adapt quickly to meet your individual requirements.

There are a lot of decisions to be made, usually in a limited period of time. We’ve put as much information as possible on our website for your research purposes, but we understand that speaking to a person who understands can make all the difference. We’re available 24 hours a day on our hotline, and will also respond to email enquiries, or the form on our website. We’ll provide you with guidance, quotes and any other information.

Details make all the difference when it comes to organising a funeral, however we know that in the moment, arranging things is overwhelming. Our Corowa funeral directors will take care of the essentials and more, to save you time. We’ll help with:

  • Memorial books
  • Floral tributes
  • Cremation urns
  • Vehicles
  • Music.

We’re living in a time where travel has become increasingly difficult, and we understand that not everyone might be able to attend a funeral service in Corowa. Sharing this moment with people who matter is important, so we’ll arrange a webcast so that people interstate and overseas can join online.

Resources to help you and your family cope

The loss of a loved one affects people in different ways, and grief can arrive immediately or take some time to show signs. There’s no right or wrong way to process loss, but understanding the stages and identifying feelings can help. To help your family cope, check our resources page.

Our team, including the Corowa funeral directors, has put together a collection of articles designed to assist people of all age groups. We know that different times of year can have an impact on how you’re feeling, so we’ve put a focus on coping at Christmas and other special dates.

Funeral Webcasting

When friends or family are unable to attend a funeral service because they live in a nursing home, interstate or overseas or when they may have commitments that can not be changed, a funeral webcast is a logical alternative. Webcasting a funeral enables absent mourners the opportunity to view and hear the funeral live from anywhere in the world for far less than the cost of travelling to the service.

To Access a Webcast

To access a webcast or to view a service that has already been webcast enter the deceased’s surname into the Funeral Service Search box to the right of the screen.
